IT Technician Job Description

OmniAccess is seeking a skilled IT Technician to support our team in Germany for two years. As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily system monitoring and maintenance tasks to ensure the integrity and availability of all hardware and systems.
  • Verify the completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups, and ensure that all IT equipment is in good working condition.
  • Provide basic user training and support in the use of common PC software and specialized property management software.
  • Monitor and support satellite communication systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the IT team and vendors to deploy new IT solutions across our fleet.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in English, with German language skills a plus.
  • Minimum of four years of practical hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • Good experience with Windows installation and administration, as well as domain expertise in Active Directory features and Failover clusters.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair PC and printer hardware, with good knowledge of LAN and WLAN networking.
  • Hands-on experience with VMWare VSphere, Hyper-V, XenDesktop, and Proxmox.
  • Good PowerShell knowledge and excellent time management skills.
