Head of Business Development

Lengow is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to lead our Business Development function, driving growth and scaling our BDR team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and improve sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
- Lead and manage a high-performing BDR team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure team members achieve their sales targets.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure alignment and optimization of messaging, tools, and strategies.
- Design and implement effective outbound strategies to generate pipeline growth, including lead qualification, opportunity management, and sales sequence creation.
- Develop and iterate on adaptable sales scripts based on real-time insights and feedback from the sales team.
- Implement dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of sales sequences and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Facilitate ongoing collaboration between Business Development, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to share insights and improve customer engagement.
- Maintain a structured recruitment process with consistent evaluation criteria and provide continuous coaching and development for team members.
- Collaborate with HR and Marketing to showcase career growth opportunities and company culture to attract top talent.
- Use KPI dashboards for regular performance evaluations, offering personalized coaching and feedback.
- Maintain a standardized reporting framework to track performance, identify trends, and forecast future sales potential.
- Minimum 3 years building and scaling a team of SDRs/BDRs in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment.
- Prospecting proficiency, with an innate understanding of what it takes to reach out and trigger ideal customer profiles.
- Experience creating and improving processes and optimizing tools.
- Observant and analytical, with the ability to identify and diagnose information and draw conclusions that lead to continuous improvement.
- Influential leader and coach, with the ability to attract, hire, engage, train, coach, and motivate individual contributors to build out their sales career and succeed in reaching targets and milestones.
- Familiarity with tools such as ZoomInfo, Lusha, Hubspot, LinkedIn Navigator, and Outreach would be great too.
- Language: English – French or another European language may be a plus.
- Working schedule: Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm and Fridays from 9 to 3 pm.
- Some flexibility in hours is provided.
