Head of Business Development

Lengow, a pioneering e-commerce platform, is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to drive growth and expansion in the European market. As Head of Business Development, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver top-notch sales opportunities, leveraging your expertise in lead management, outbound strategies, and team growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Opportunity Management & Outbound Engagement: Collaborate with Marketing and RevOps to optimize lead capture and ensure seamless communication with ideal customer profiles.
- Sales Scripts, Sequence Performance & Optimization: Develop and refine adaptable sales scripts based on real-time insights and feedback from the sales team, and implement dashboards to monitor sequence effectiveness.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Facilitate ongoing collaboration between Business Development, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to share insights and improve customer engagement.
- Team Growth, Recruitment & Development: Maintain a structured recruitment process, provide continuous coaching and development for team members, and ensure clear progression paths.
- Performance Reviews & Reporting: Use KPI dashboards for regular performance evaluations, offering personalized coaching and feedback, and maintain a standardized reporting framework to track performance and forecast future sales potential.
- Minimum 3 years building and scaling a team of SDRs/BDRs in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment.
- Prospecting proficiency, with an innate understanding of what it takes to reach out and trigger ideal customer profiles.
- Observant & analytical, able to identify and diagnose information (both behaviors and data) and draw conclusions that lead to continuous improvement.
- Influential leader and coach, able to attract, hire, engage, train, coach, and motivate individual contributors to build out their sales career and succeed in reaching targets and milestones.
- Familiarity with tools such as ZoomInfo, Lusha, Hubspot, LinkedIn Navigator, and Outreach would be great too.
- Language: English – French or another European language may be a plus.
- Working schedule: Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm and Fridays from 9 to 3 pm.
- Some flexibility in hours is provided.
