About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our People team at Back Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the compensation internationally, driving and implementing an innovative compensation strategy, and deploying and managing the yearly compensation review process worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the compensation internationally, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and equity
- Develop and implement an innovative compensation strategy that aligns with the company's mission and values
- Deploy and manage the yearly compensation review process worldwide, automating and optimizing processes as needed
- Manage bonus payouts and equity attributions, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Co-create compensation and benefits supporting documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
- Guarantee internal equity and competitiveness, updating and maintaining compensation ranges as needed
- Support People partners on compensation questions and Talent Acquisition team on offer definitions
- Participate in salary surveys and provide business benchmarks as needed
- Contribute to global projects, such as benefits setup, budget definition, forecast, and ad-hoc analysis
Requirements:
- Significant experience in Compensation (at least 3 years) and in-depth knowledge of C&B practices
- Proven track record of working in a fast-growing and international environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to make complex concepts simple
- Proficiency in Excel/Gsheet and ability to work with data-driven tools
- Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)
