Head of Sales Spain and Portugal

Our client, a leading international company, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead and develop the business in Spain and Portugal. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for managing the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and SCM teams to achieve the sales plan for both countries. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Sales International and will be based in Barcelona, Spain.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and market share in Spain and Portugal
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Proven track record of sales leadership and management experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of the Spanish and Portuguese retail markets
- Fluent Spanish and English language skills, with additional language skills a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
