Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Marketplace Business Development Manager to lead our end-to-end pre-sales, onboarding, and renewal efforts. This role requires a customer-facing professional with expertise in SaaS sales and business development, able to work closely with internal teams and external partners. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Advise prospects and customers on top SaaS and Cloud tools available via the Sastrify Marketplace
- Lead the entire lifecycle of Sastrify Marketplace pre-sales, onboarding, and renewals, including building your sales pipeline, winning deals, ensuring seamless onboarding, and securing future renewals
- Build and own your new business and renewals forecast, defining your strategy to win and achieve your forecast, highlighting roadblocks and required support, reporting progress regularly
- Collaborate with other Sastrify teams involved in the Sastrify Marketplace customer journey, as well as external partners
- Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improving offerings and the end-to-end customer experience
- Develop initiatives to enhance the Sastrify Marketplace
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience in customer-facing roles, such as Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, or Account Management within the SaaS industry
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Persistence, creativity, and reliability, along with motivation to drive multiple business opportunities and projects in parallel
- Self-motivation, proactivity, and ability to innovate continuously to improve value delivered to customers and differentiation in the market
- Outstanding oral and written English skills
- Familiarity with remote work environments and based in Germany or Spain (we do not have entities elsewhere)
- Bonus qualifications include:
- Proven experience running end-to-end SaaS pre-sales, onboarding, and renewals
- Experience in the channel business, working at the intersection of SaaS vendors, resellers, and customers
- Fluency in German
