Packaging Board Sales Director Position in Singapore

A leading company in the packaging industry is seeking an experienced Sales Head – Packaging Board to lead sales activities for its rapidly growing business. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of the company's Board division.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales operations, from strategy to execution, ensuring revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing sales budgets, allocating resources, and overseeing sales teams. The successful candidate will also develop relationships with key customers, transitioning from product-focused sales to a solutions-based approach.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 15 years of commercial management experience in Board products or related sectors. A proven track record of managing sizable commercial operations at a regional level, such as EMEA markets, is essential. You should also have a deep understanding of the packaging market, including product dynamics and customer needs, with a strong business acumen and commercial mindset. Excellent leadership skills are required, including building and developing high-performing sales teams. Communication and interpersonal skills are also crucial, with proficiency in English being essential. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
