Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans to grow business for customers and Abbott, attaining sales and spend goals.
You will possess a "General Manager" mindset, owning every aspect of the business, including financial management, trade deals, and customer relationships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement strategic growth plans that drive results in store and online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business plans to grow business for customers and Abbott
- Manage trade deals to drive profitable business outcomes and positive ROI
- Build cross-functional relationships with brand, sales strategy, and marketing teams
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve increased revenue and profitability
- Develop and implement annual key account business plans
- Collaborate with customer, internal sales, and marketing functions for development of promotional strategies
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field. You should have at least 4 years of direct sales experience within the consumer product goods industry with increasing account responsibility.
You should possess advanced knowledge of sales acumen, trade, category management, and marketing concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to analyze market trends and develop presentations.
