Job Title: Commis Cook

We are seeking a skilled Commis Cook to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist in menu preparation, kitchen organization, and production.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in menu preparation, kitchen organization, and production
  • Work within a team to ensure menu prep is done according to the guidelines set by Sous Chef
  • Assist with the storage, preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the required standards
  • Ensure smooth operations, with orders and deliveries coming and going as needed, and maintain high food hygiene standards
  • Pay attention to details to ensure every dish served is as delicious as the one before
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as part of a similar sized kitchen team
  • Passion for food is a given; a love for our particular flavors is a definite advantage
  • Ability to positively impact the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborative spirit; we leave our egos at the door and help get things done
  • Willingness to try new things and adapt
