Accor Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team as an Executive Chef.

Job Summary

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our hotel, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This includes:

  • Assigning specific duties to all kitchen staff and instructing them in their work
  • Ensuring personal cleanliness and proper deportment of all team members
  • Working closely with the Executive Sous Chef to determine quality and quantity of food materials used
  • Discussing menu price adjustments with the Executive Sous Chef
  • Checking the taste, temperature, and visual appeal of food items prepared
  • Ensuring that all equipment and perishable items are stored in their designated place
  • Preventing the use of contaminated products in any phase of food preparation
  • Suggesting new recipes and products to improve quality and lower food costs
  • Checking the maintenance of all kitchen equipment
  • Ensuring that all safety, health, security, and loss control policies and procedures are adhered to

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in a senior culinary role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
