Executive Chef

Six Senses Ibiza is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall direction and operation of the kitchen, ensuring that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase local and seasonal ingredients, while adhering to our sustainability and wellness platforms.
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory management to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the gardeners to implement efficient food waste removal and composting practices.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.
  • Conduct regular food quality assessments and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain standard recipes, food presentation guidelines, and quality control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements, including health and safety protocols, security measures, and budgetary controls.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on sustainability, wellness, and local ingredients.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, costs, and inventory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
