Job Title: Executive Pastry Chef

At Accor Hotels, we are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality bakery and pastry products to all Food and Beverage Outlets and Banquets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in setting Annual Operating Targets in close conjunction with the Executive Chef, which will form part of the Hotel's Annual Business Plan.
  • Monitor all costs and recommend measures to control them, establishing an integrated cost management plan.
  • Ensure that the Department Operational Budget is strictly adhered to, reviewing monthly forecasts and scheduling resources accordingly.
  • Assign responsibilities to subordinates and check their performance periodically.
  • Support staff needs in other Divisions based on hotel priorities and anticipated business levels.
  • Monitor service and Food & Beverage standards in all outlets and banquets.
  • Ensure that all bakery pastry preparation and presentation and kitchen sanitation practices meet with hotel standards and local legislations.
  • Work closely with the Hygiene Officer in implementing all hygiene and safety procedures.
  • Conduct frequent walk-through inspections together with the Director of the Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, Steward Manager, and Hygiene Officer.
Requirements:
  • Culinary Occupational degree/Certificate.
  • Previous experience in luxury hotels.
  • Financial planning skills.
  • Communication Skills.
