About the Role

The Senior Business Development Manager - Global Supply Chain will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and optimizing supply chain efficiency. This strategic position requires a dynamic individual with expertise in demand planning, market analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Main Responsibilities

  • Owns, prepares, and facilitates the demand plan process up to sign-off by markets' representatives.
  • Involves sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure their accountability in the demand planning process.
  • Completes local and regional demand reviews based on ANAPLAN and AI-generated forecasts to predict future demand trends.
  • Steers forecast accuracy as the main KPI of the demand planning process and applies corrective action plans.
  • Reconciles forecast variance analysis with business trends up to SKU levels and recommends progress plans to the organization.
  • Reviews demand planning outcomes with the global team for consolidation.
  • Provides operational guidance to stakeholders in different S&OP process steps to secure accountability and ownership of the process.
  • Leads regular market S&OE meetings and co-leads the regional S&OE meeting to guarantee the execution of the demand plan.
  • Closely monitors supply issues (e.g., lead times, inventory levels) and develops strategies to mitigate risks.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in demand planning, market analysis, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in ANAPLAN and/or other supply chain management tools.
