Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sales Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering sales training programs, coaching sales professionals, and driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Deliver Sales Training Programs: Create and deliver training programs that equip sales professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Coach Sales Professionals: Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to sales professionals to help them improve their sales skills and performance.
- Drive Sales Performance: Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement, then develop and implement training programs to address these areas.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership: Work closely with sales leadership to understand sales goals and objectives, and develop training programs that align with these goals.
- Measure and Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong Presentation and Coaching Skills: The ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner, and to coach sales professionals to improve their sales skills.
- Quota-Carrying Sales Experience: A proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales principles and practices.
- Experience in Sales and/or Training: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or training, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and coaching concepts.
- Ability to Travel: The ability to travel up to 20% of the time, as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a complex, multi-level sales environment.
- 3+ Years of Training Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a sales environment.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or communications.

- Coaching Others: The ability to coach and mentor sales professionals to improve their sales skills and performance.
- Sales Function: A strong understanding of sales principles and practices, and the ability to conduct daily and strategic activities within a sales function.
- Live Instruction: The ability to deliver live training courses to facilitate audience learning.
- Sales Training: A strong understanding of sales training methodologies, and the ability to ensure that sales professionals have the knowledge and skills required to meet sales objectives.
- Training and Development: A strong understanding of employee training and development methodologies, and the ability to ensure that sales professionals have the knowledge and skills required to meet sales objectives.
- Training Needs Analysis: The ability to identify what sales professionals need to learn to improve their sales skills and performance.
- Training Technologies: A strong understanding of training tools and techniques, and the ability to utilize software, technologies, and applications for the creation and development of training programs and processes.
