Senior Sales Operations Strategist

About the Role
The MongoDB community is revolutionizing industries and empowering developers to build innovative apps. Our Sales Operations team seeks a seasoned professional to drive strategic initiatives, analyze business rules, and optimize sales processes. This role involves partnering with Senior Sales leadership to drive market and segment analyses, conceptualizing new programs, and participating in quarterly and annual business planning.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive the analytical rhythm of our business, including quarterly business reviews and org deep dives
• Partner with Senior Sales leadership to drive market and segment specific analyses
• Become an expert in business and compensation rules to fully understand how Sales operates
• Conceptualize and pilot new programs to test the effectiveness of various sales roles and comp plans
• Participate in quarterly and annual business planning for the Sales teams
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.)
• 5+ years of work experience in Sales Strategy, Consulting, Sales Operations, or Analytics
• Effective communicator who can break down complex technical concepts into simple business vernacular
• Ability to write SQL queries to extract data needed for analysis
• Experience with at least one major business intelligence tool (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker)
• Familiarity with databases and the differences between relational vs. non-relational
• Proficiency in navigating Salesforce
