We are seeking an experienced Personal Shopping Business Development Manager to lead our Personal Shopping team in Madrid. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Personal Shopping business, ensuring that our clients receive the most sophisticated stylism service and client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement the Personal Shopping Client Experience: Develop and implement a clear plan to deliver exceptional client experiences, ensuring that every interaction meets excellence.
- Lead the Personal Shopping Team: Hire, train, and coach personal shoppers and assistants to deliver the highest level of fashion experience, operational excellence, and trust-based relationships with clients.
- Build Relationships with Luxury Brands: Establish and maintain close relationships with luxury brands, ensuring up-to-date availability of stock, brand understanding, offers, and campaigns to support client needs and drive sales.
- Lead by Example: Set and continuously monitor service standards, motivate the team to achieve them, and take proactive action to address any issues.
- Plan and Provide Training Sessions: Plan and provide regular personal shopping and brand product training sessions to ensure the team is equipped to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Manage Virtual Shopping Media Communications: Manage the creation and execution of virtual shopping media communications to engage clients (WhatsApp Business stories, WeChat moments, etc.).
- Collaborate with Departments: Collaborate with various departments to deliver client requests and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that the department is fully compliant with trading standards legislation, health and safety legislation, and security standards.
- Support Operational Initiatives: Support operational initiatives, including payments, SOPs, and IT.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience managing a team for a luxury retail brand.
- A great communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- A strong network and an existing client book.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong team player attitude.
- Ability to coach team members to drive performance and enable change.
- Ability to bring ideas and share best practices with other teams.
- Patient, understanding, and resilient with good listening skills.
- Aware of cultural sensitivities and able to flex personal style to best service clients.
- Efficient, organized, and able to plan the working day to accommodate clients.
- Ability to work well under pressure with good attention to detail.
