As a German-speaking Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of German SME clients with a clear focus on portfolio growth and long-term account retention strategy.

You will identify client needs and sell appropriate value components to create greater customer engagement, manage an effective pipeline, and proactively prioritize opportunities to achieve and exceed profitable growth targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full managerial responsibility of a portfolio of German SME clients
  • Identify client needs with products and services and sell appropriate value components
  • Proactively manage an effective pipeline and identify opportunities for growth
  • Consistently seek out new sources for expansion opportunities
  • Ensure premium value is delivered aligned with client's goals
  • Understand client's opportunities, threats, and risks to maintain and grow relationship

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Native level German and fluency in English written and spoken
  • Background working for/in the German Market
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook
  • Challenger mindset with the ability to think creatively
  • A natural forward planner with strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, including German native language skills and fluency in English
  • Ability to quickly gain an in-depth understanding of each client's needs
  • Strong negotiation skills and consultative sales skills

Estimated Salary Range

We estimate the annual salary range for this position to be approximately €45,000 - €60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
