Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Loan Agency Manager to join our team at Apex Group. As a key member of our Loan Agency team, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling compliance with financing agreements, supporting junior team members, and managing complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control periodic or one-off compliance by borrowers with obligations and milestones set forth in financing agreements.
- Support and supervise junior team members, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Close and manage complex transactions, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Set up new transactions using our Agency Management Monitoring Tool, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.
- Manage and coordinate Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements for lenders and borrowers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate amendments or waiver processes until resolution, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Ensure effective management of client responsibilities, meeting agreed deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Assist lenders in decision-making processes, providing expert guidance and support as needed.
- Coordinate and manage communications among borrowers, lenders, obligors, and advisers, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in meetings and conference calls, providing expert input and guidance as needed.
- Manage loan transfers between existing and new incoming lenders, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.
- Coordinate agency duties with Loans Administration and Business Development departments, supporting the activity of the Loans Administration department as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the banking, financial, or legal advisory sector.
- Excellent work attitude, quick learner, and proficient team player.
- Eagerness to pay attention to detail and go the extra mile in all aspects of the role.
- Syndicated Loan Experience, ideally Middle office, Loan Administration background is a plus.
- Experience with Intralinks/Debtdomain or similar loans communication tools is an advantage.
- Spanish and C2 English are must-haves; fluent French and/or German is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Ability to take initiative and multitask.
- Strong work ethic, proactive approach, and can-do mindset.
- Willingness to learn and gain relevant experience in the syndicated loans sector.
