The Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales professional responsible for client retention and growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new products and services. This role involves consulting with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Gartner's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth and retention
• Collaborate with C-level executives to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions
• Manage and maintain accurate forecasts and sales performance metrics
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge
Requirements:
• 5-8 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology
• Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
• Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations
• Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
• Bachelor's or master's degree – desired
