HR Rewards Manager

British American Tobacco is seeking a highly skilled HR Rewards Manager to join our team in Madrid, Spain.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of total rewards strategies, compensation and benefits, and labor laws. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing total rewards programs that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement total rewards strategies that are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.
- Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual salary budgets for employment costs forecast.
- Analyze and develop comprehensive total reward programs, including base pay, incentives, benefits, and recognition programs.
- Run the merit increase process and non-fixed salary calculation, ensuring clarity and fairness aligned with company policies.
- Develop guidelines and tools for managers to effectively conduct performance reviews and merit assessments.
- Communicate total rewards programs to employees, ensuring understanding and engagement.
- Stay updated on compensation and benefits trends, laws, and best practices.
- Coordinate executive compensation plans, including short- and long-term incentive plans.
- Payroll and benefits administration, including collaborating with external service providers.
- HRIS/HRM management, including maintaining the company's HRIS/HRM system.
- HR data and analytics, including monitoring, consolidating, and reporting on key HR metrics.
- Labor law management, including guaranteeing adherence to labor laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Expatriate and international assignments management, including managing the process of expatriate assignments and international transfers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, compensation and benefits, and labor laws. They will be able to design and implement total rewards programs that align with the company's business goals and objectives. The candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
