Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team in Santiago de Compostela. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing accurate demand forecasts to ensure the company meets its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a reconciler of supply and demand between different areas, successfully communicating forecast and inventory estimations to management.
  • Provide critical information to sales and marketing teams for decision-making, while monitoring and reporting on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
  • Coordinate S&OP meetings, ensuring their proper functioning and performance measurement.
  • Ensure product availability meets client and consumer demands during meetings.
  • Participate in the development of tools and projects to support the area.
  • Analyze the impact of commercial actions (promotions) on sales, while monitoring the long-term impact on product availability.
  • Prepare documentation associated with the S&OP process.
  • Support decision-makers with data to guarantee the level of quality of customer service.
  • Help and participate in developing the Sales budget.
  • Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Business Administration or related fields, such as Business Admin, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or similar studies. A Supply Chain Management, Lean Manufacturing, Production, or Business Intelligence Master's Degree or higher education studies will be highly valued.

Additionally, the candidate should have between 3 to 5 years of experience developing similar responsibilities, preferably in a food industry or FMCG company.

Skills and Abilities
  • Advanced skills in data analytics and Business Intelligence (Power BI, ClicSense, Tableau)
  • Planning tools: IBP, Oracle, MS Dynamics
  • Advanced level in Excel skills
  • Fluency in English (B2)
  • Well-developed communication skills
