Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at The Hoxton. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Front of House team, providing a high level of service to our guests, and driving business growth through effective management and coaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Front of House Team: Provide guidance, support, and coaching to the Front Office team to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage Front Desk Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, ensuring that all guests are checked in and out efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Work closely with the Duty Managers and other Hoxton teams to develop and implement sales strategies that drive business growth and maximize occupancy.
  • Manage Departmental Budgets: Responsible for managing departmental budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
  • Build Relationships with Colleagues and Guests: Foster strong relationships with colleagues and guests, ensuring that all interactions are positive and memorable.
Requirements
  • Experience in Hospitality: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Front Office Manager role within a four or five-star hotel property.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish and English; Catalan is preferable and additional languages will be highly valued.
  • Leadership and Coaching Skills: Proven ability to lead and coach a team, with a focus on developing and empowering team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues effectively.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible shift patterns, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, to support the duty management team.
