We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at a Hostel in Barcelona. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the front desk, and maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will be a great leader and team worker, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for managing multiple tasks simultaneously, handling guest complaints, and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.

We are looking for a creative and proactive individual who is well-organized and able to work independently. You will be responsible for managing a small team, handling stress and pressure, and ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Receptionist Supervisor/Manager in the Hotel/Hostel industry, with a strong background in customer service and team management. You will be fluent in English and Spanish, with basic knowledge of Catalan and another language a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the front desk and ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  2. Provide exceptional service to guests, handling complaints and resolving issues.
  3. Manage a small team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  4. Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  5. Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests feel valued and respected.
  6. Work independently, handling stress and pressure, and making decisions as needed.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2-3 years of experience as a Receptionist Supervisor/Manager in the Hotel/Hostel industry.
  2. Strong background in customer service and team management.
  3. Fluent in English and Spanish, with basic knowledge of Catalan and another language a plus.
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and handle stress and pressure.
