Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Hostels. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and leading a small team of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and diplomatic manner.
  • Manage front desk operations, including checking in and out guests, handling payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Lead a small team of staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work proactively to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, while maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities, working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve goals.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Receptionist Supervisor/Manager in the Hotel/Hostel industry.
  • Experience working with PMS MEWS and other hospitality systems, including Channel Manager, CRM, and RMS.
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills, with basic Catalan and another language a plus.
  • Decent IT knowledge and experience with events, activities, and social media a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
