Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Hostels. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the front desk team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and control front desk expenses, including inventory management and budgeting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve our services.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Receptionist Supervisor/Manager in the Hotel/Hostel industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and improving guest satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills, with basic Catalan and another language a plus.
  • Strong IT knowledge and experience with hospitality systems, including PMS, Channel Manager, CRM, and RMS.
