About the Role

The Inside Account Executive role focuses exclusively on formulating and executing a sales strategy within MongoDB's most strategic accounts, closing net new workloads and expanding MongoDB's footprint. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively identifying, qualifying, and closing a sales pipeline within MongoDB's most strategic accounts
  • Driving product adoption in Line of Businesses (LOBs) and Business Units (BUs) owned in the account, upselling/cross-selling through cultivating strategic relationships with executives and multi-level champions, aligning to their key initiatives and long-term goals
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing, Product, and the internal sales ecosystem to drive customer adoption and satisfaction
  • Meeting and exceeding quarterly quotas on New Workloads (NWLs), Net ARR (NARR), and Professional Services (PS)
  • Investing in self-development, focusing on skills and attributes that will make you successful in your core role and set you up for future success

What We Offer

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying closing role or Strategic Account-based selling experience
  • Experience selling complex SaaS and/or Cloud products/services
  • A proven track record of overachievement through generating your own pipeline and hitting sales targets
  • Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, tenacious teammate
  • A strong desire to be successful
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology both in verbal and written forms

Location and Language

We are looking for candidates based in EMEA: Barcelona, Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt. You must be willing to travel regularly and adapt to changing requirements.

We prefer candidates with German (native) and French language proficiency. However, we are open to other languages and candidates from diverse backgrounds.
