About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in South West Europe. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and revenue.

Your primary focus will be on promoting and developing our new portfolio of Data Driven Services and Software Support Solutions to customers across various industries. You will work closely with our sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction, high profitability, and orders received through intelligent concepts of Data Based Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and revenue
  • Promote and develop our new portfolio of Data Driven Services and Software Support Solutions to customers
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and high profitability
  • Ensure coordination between sales commitments and IT technical team execution
  • Extend DDS-Alture Sales as options to various Service products like Contracts, Software Services, and Tightening Services
  • Roll out market penetration activities, supporting local sales teams and presenting Alture to customers on site to achieve a high connection rate
  • Ensure follow-up appointments with customers to make the added value of data-based services tangible
Requirements
  • Several years of proven experience in value-based sales and business development of technical products or software solutions
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
  • Completed studies/technical academic degree within mechanical engineering or other relevant area and high application knowledge around software and/or data-related solutions
  • Very good English, Spanish, and French speaking and writing skills
  • Team player with ability to motivate colleagues and communicate effectively with customers and all levels of hierarchy
  • Traveling to build competence to customers and Atlas Copco organization
  • Passionate and entrepreneurial, enthusiast, and with empathy
  • Pro-active, accountable, and result-oriented
