About Us

AWS Emea Sarl (Spain Branch) is rapidly expanding its remote sales function to drive growth across a set of AWS' Small and Medium Businesses.

As an Account Executive at AWS, you are responsible for exercising acquisition skills, utilizing solution-specific targeted campaigns to help grow consumption of current and net-new AWS services. In this full sales-cycle quota carrying role, you will use your sales and technical experience to work proactively with our customers to accelerate their journey to the cloud.

In order to harness the innovation and scale of services AWS offers, you will leverage internal resources to engage with our customers to execute their strategic objectives in order to adapt to changing market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory.
  • Develop and execute against a territory plan.
  • Manage numerous accounts concurrently & long-term.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Avg salary range: 100,000 - 120,000 euros per annum, depending on location.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption and ensure customer satisfaction.

About the Team:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven technology account/territory management, business development or sales engineering/consulting experience.
  • College/University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Target oriented individual with remote account management experience dealing with B2B customers.
  • Previous experience in an Account Manager role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A technical background in engineering, computer science or MIS is advantageous.
  • Literacy in Salesforce desirable.
  • Insights about the SMB ecosystem in terms of cloud solutions, channel development, main market Middle East SMB segment stakeholders and trends.
  • English and Arabic language fluency.
