Key Responsibilities- Grow and Service Existing Customers: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers in the Cataluña, Aragon, and Balear areas, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Open New Key Accounts: Independently identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and negotiating contracts to secure new business.
- Sell Across Channels: Sell all WD-40 Company brands across one or more channels into national accounts, working with regional national account buyers to achieve defined sales and EBITDA goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with our marketing team to adapt and create national marketing programs and strategies for account-specific needs.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage semi-complex contracts with customers, ensuring that agreements are in the best interests of WD-40 Company.
- Customer E-commerce: Monitor and drive customer e-commerce and website development in harmony with our marketplace strategy.
- Merchandiser Sales: Lead external merchandiser sales efforts of all WD-40 Company brands across diverse channels to achieve defined sales.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or similar desirable.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Catalan is a must.
- Experience: 8-10+ years of relevant consumer packaged goods business development experience in relevant trade channels, including identification and opening of new business and maintenance and growth of existing customers to achieve goals.
- Key Account Management: Experience in key account management within the mass-market or DIY distribution will be highly valuable.
- Sales Experience: Sales experience within wholesale automotive, hardware, industrial, retail distribution, and/or relevant channels is preferred.
- Category Management: Advanced working knowledge of the principles and execution of category management and marketing both on-shelf and online.
- Technical Skills: Good command of MS Office and CRM/ERP.
