Job Description

As a Business Consultant, you will join a consulting team dedicated to achieving growth objectives set for our operations in Spain.

Execution of Business Consulting Projects

Implement cross-functional initiatives according to project timelines under the direction of senior leadership, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure deliverables align with client expectations and project objectives. Develop high-quality deliverables and presentations, working with team members to analyze data and formulate strategic recommendations while remaining informed on industry trends and best practices to improve project results. Engage in client meetings and presentations, maintaining regular communication with clients to update them on project status, address any concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction.

Consultative Selling and Strategic Engagement

Employ consultative selling techniques to thoroughly understand client needs, challenges, and goals. Assist in structuring proposal narratives and presentations to effectively highlight Merkle's capabilities and solutions. Help ensure proposals are coherent, clear, and aligned with client expectations and company offerings.

Innovating 'Business Consulting'

Identify and create offerings that dynamically respond to changing market demands. Promote team development and continuous training to remain at the forefront of best practices and emerging trends. Advocate internally for the value and capabilities of our new team, actively collaborating with other functions to ensure organizational alignment and support.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. Proven success in strategic business development and consultative selling within the consulting sector. Demonstrated experience in executing consulting projects related to digital transformation, operational models, business strategy frameworks, change management, etc. 2-3 years experience . Familiarity with MarTech, Data, and CXM solutions, with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling value propositions. Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate ideas persuasively and engage diverse audiences. Strong team player, collaborating effectively to achieve objectives and foster a cooperative work environment. Analytical skills and innovative thinking, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to achieve business goals. Experience in client relationship management is preferred.
