Customer Success Specialist

At JoVE, we are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Customer Success Specialist - Science Education. In this role, you will be working closely with existing customers, including universities and research centers, to support their scientific research and education goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for science, education, and technology, and will be able to develop relationships with key decision makers and teaching/research staff at universities and research institutes. You will be responsible for delivering product awareness, setting up meetings for curriculum consultation, and increasing usage at existing customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing relationships with key decision makers and teaching/research staff at universities and research institutes
- Delivering product awareness and setting up meetings for curriculum consultation
- Increasing usage at existing customers
- Providing customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams
- Maintaining positive ongoing relationships with customer institutes to provide support and ensure client satisfaction and retention
Requirements include:
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- A bachelor/master's degree in a STEM discipline is preferred
- A demonstrated passion for science, education, and technology
- 1-3 years of previous experience in selling and servicing in the education/publishing market is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for remote relationship building
- Ability to tell a compelling story in a short period of time
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
- Experience in networking by means of cold calling
- Knowledge of STEM publishing preferred
