Job Description

At EcoVadis, we're committed to guiding companies towards a sustainable future. As a Sales and Sustainability Development Associate, you'll play a key role in fostering continuous improvement of sustainable business practices in global supply chains.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with companies to leverage EcoVadis solutions and promote sustainable practices.
  • Prospecting and outreach activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Conducting high-level discovery and educational conversations with senior executives to qualify leads.
  • Scheduling meetings for account executives and evangelizing the importance of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
  • Leveraging your teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities in regional areas.
  • Maintaining an activity volume with the intent to qualify leads and create pipeline growth.
  • Meeting or exceeding your target and staying up-to-date on industry trends and competition.
  • Quarterly business plan creation, reporting, and presentation to key stakeholders.
  • Recording and documenting calls and communications in Salesforce to identify trends for improvement.
  • Monitoring social networks for sales opportunities and leads.
  • Reporting on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative.

Our ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, a desire to learn new skills, and to build a career in sales and sustainability. They will possess excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously.

Specific qualifications include a university degree in business or sustainability-related areas. Experience working in sustainability, CSR, or B2B procurement would be a plus. Native fluency in French and proficiency in English is a must; Portuguese is a plus. Knowledge of the French corporate business culture is also required.
