Our Sales Operations team strives to help our Sales organization go faster and grow faster. As a Senior Sales Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing inefficient business rules, piloting new sales roles, optimizing for obstacles in the sales process, and analyzing sales data to come up with meaningful business insights.

This role requires a senior analyst to join us in building out our function in support of our Sales Leadership Teams over time. You will play a critical role in learning the ins and outs of each major MongoDB Sales Business, building relationships with the senior leadership team, and driving forward initiatives that will help us unlock sales revenue.

This position can be based in one of our European offices, including London, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, or Dublin.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Sales Strategy & Planning Analyst, you will:

  • Drive the analytical rhythm of our business, including quarterly business reviews and org deep dives
  • Partner with Senior Sales leadership to drive market + segment specific analyses to uncover insight
  • Become an expert in business and compensation rules to fully understand how Sales operates
  • Conceptualize and pilot new programs to test the effectiveness of various sales roles / comp plans
  • Participate in quarterly and annual business planning for the Sales teams
  • Collaborate with various business units to drive productivity and headcount scenario analyses

Your Background

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.) and 5+ years of experience in Sales Strategy / Consulting / Sales Operations / Analytics. You should have effective communication skills, the ability to write SQL queries, and experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Looker.

You should be familiar with databases and navigation around Salesforce. We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
