We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences in Spain. Key Responsibilities- Lead system upgrading and improvement projects, including validation requirements.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maintain and improve facilities and building systems reliability.
- Conduct asset lifecycle management reviews of building systems and production equipment, recommending improvements or upgrades as needed.
- Lead cross-functional operations and quality teams to resolve facilities system or quality-related issues.
- Review, approve, and assign day-to-day tasks to technicians to maintain facilities reliability and support internal customers' requests.
- Monitor and maintain facilities systems and procedures to comply with regulatory, quality, and EHS requirements.
- Identify and recommend maintenance contracts.
- Achieve plant EHS goals by supervising technicians and contractors to ensure safe work practices.
- Provide training and guidance to facilities technicians to achieve department goals.
- Review and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Participate in annual budgeting processes and ensure spending meets objectives.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of adhering to and leading project schedules are essential.
