About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our global payments team, you will be responsible for identifying and contacting new prospects to determine their requirements and arrange qualified appointments for our Senior Business Development Managers.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Senior Business Development Managers, Industry leads, and Head of Sales to prospect new and existing contacts. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your skills and experience to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and contact new prospects to determine their requirements and arrange qualified appointments for our Senior Business Development Managers
  • Work closely with the Senior Business Development Managers, Industry leads, and Head of Sales to prospect new and existing contacts
  • Manage the lead allocation pipeline to the sales team on a daily basis
  • Demonstrate and promote ideal solutions for potential clients using commercial awareness
Requirements
  • Similar experiences in a sales role, ideally used to making outbound calls
  • Prior experience in Foreign Exchange is advantageous
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and/or Catalan is required
  • Financial services experience is ideal
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management
  • Experience within Microsoft Office Suite and sales tools such as Salesforce would be advantageous
  • Professional telephone manner
