Culture and Engagement Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Employee Experience Specialist to join our team at Flywire. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and fostering a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Management: Handle day-to-day operations and serve as the first point of contact for client service requests and facility-related issues.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Manage Flywire vendor relationships (Food, Catering, Swag, Maintenance and others) to ensure seamless execution of services.
- Facilities Management: Support the maintenance of the office space to meet the employees' needs.
- Data Management: Manage and update data in company databases or CRM systems while ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Employee Engagement: Create compelling experiences to all FlyMates, in order to increase engagement and participation.
- Cultural Assessment: Execute assessment plans to gauge progress toward cultural goals, and the impact of past and current cultural interventions.
- Experience Framework Design: Support in designing and implementing Experience Frameworks.
- Event Planning: Propose, plan and manage events (corporate and social) and other initiatives to keep our FlyMates connected and engaged in a Hybrid-model work environment.
- Cultural Integration: Collaborate with People Team and leadership to integrate cultural initiatives into the company's overall strategy and operations.
- Communication: Develops communication materials to promote employee engagement programs and initiatives.
- Performance Metrics: Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of employee engagement programs. Tracks and analyzes relevant metrics to assess program impact and makes data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Cultural Celebrations: Organize and promote events that celebrate diversity and foster a sense of community.
- Cultural Trends: Monitor cultural trends and best practices to continuously improve cultural initiatives.
- Community Engagement: Recommends programs and strategies to deploy community-based cultural initiatives.
- Cultural Ambassador: Act as a liaison between employees and management to address cultural concerns and suggestions.
- Cultural Champion: Champion a culture of respect, transparency, and collaboration across the organization.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Sociology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred but not required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Culture Specialist, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist, or similar role within HR.
- Skills: Strong skills in managing and updating data in company databases systems and resolving issues in a timely manner. Understanding of organizational culture dynamics and best practices. Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and their application in the workplace.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion: Passionate about promoting a positive work environment and employee well-being.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
