Job Summary

Sin Nombre is seeking a highly experienced Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer to lead the development and implementation of a world-class ethics and compliance culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and leading an effective Ethics and Compliance Program based on global best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Ethics and Compliance Program that aligns with global best practices and industry standards.
  • Lead the design and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Drive proactive compliance leadership and engagement to ensure colleagues are responsible for compliance with policies, processes, controls, and other initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a compliance training program that educates employees on ethics and compliance best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks, and develop strategies to prevent and correct non-compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay up-to-date on emerging compliance trends and requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on ethics and compliance matters, and investigate and resolve compliance issues in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in ethics and compliance, with a strong background in anti-corruption laws and regulations, third-party compliance, anti-fraud, trade compliance, antitrust/competition law compliance, privacy, conflict of interest, and anti-harassment.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree or Law Degree preferred.
  • Professional compliance professional certification, such as CESCOM or CCEP-I.
  • Spanish and English language proficiency.
  • Unquestioned integrity and ethics in business and personal conduct.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to detect emerging ethics/compliance trends and develop appropriate responses.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to interact and influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Superior communication skills, inter-personal skills, mature judgment, and independent thinking.
  • Ability to drive sustainable cultural and organizational change.
  • Energetic and innovative self-starter.
  • Ability to analyze and translate policy into practical business processes.
  • Ability to operate with discretion, confidentiality, objectivity, and independence.
  • Strong analytical, process management, and implementation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex regulatory language and integrate requirements of various global requirements into a global program.
  • Work history that demonstrates leadership, sensitivity to issues, strong facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
  • Established project management skills.
