Job Summary

The Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Sin Nombre is responsible for developing and implementing a world-class ethics and compliance culture. This includes establishing programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, as well as detecting and preventing noncompliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead an effective Ethics and Compliance Program based on global best practices, including ethics, compliance, privacy, anti-corruption, trade compliance, and anti-harassment.
  • Drive proactive compliance leadership and engagement to ensure colleagues are responsible for compliance with policies, processes, controls, and other initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to detect, prevent, and correct noncompliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate ethics and compliance into the organization's overall strategy and culture.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on ethics and compliance matters, including training and education programs.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging ethics and compliance trends and develop strategies to address them.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in ethics and compliance, including experience with anti-corruption laws and regulations, third-party compliance, anti-fraud, trade compliance, antitrust/competition law compliance, privacy, conflict of interest, and anti-harassment.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree or Law Degree preferred.
  • Professional compliance certification, such as CESCOM or CCEP-I.
  • Spanish and English language proficiency.
  • Unquestioned integrity and ethics in business and personal conduct.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to detect emerging ethics and compliance trends.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Superior communication skills, mature judgment, and independent thinking.
  • Ability to drive sustainable cultural and organizational change.
  • Experience leading programs/projects and established project management skills.
