Job Summary

As the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Idrica, you will lead the development and implementation of a world-class ethics and compliance culture. This role is responsible for establishing, implementing, and leading an effective Ethics and Compliance Program based on global best practices, including ethics, compliance, privacy, anti-corruption, trade compliance, and anti-harassment. You will drive proactive compliance leadership and engagement, ensuring colleagues are responsible for compliance with policies, processes, controls, and other initiatives. Key responsibilities include:





  • Establishing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to drive compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Developing and implementing communications and training to promote awareness and understanding of expectations.

  • Conducting risk assessments and mitigation activities to identify and address potential compliance risks.

  • Driving ethics and compliance governance within the business, including developing and implementing a method for employees to raise ethics and compliance concerns.

  • Leading and/or supporting investigations to ensure matters are closed quickly with appropriate remediation.

  • Developing and evaluating compliance metrics to identify trends and conduct root cause analysis.

  • Liaising with internal Trade Compliance and Data Privacy Subject Matter Experts to develop and implement trade compliance and data privacy programs.

  • Developing and maintaining a global ethics and compliance program that is aligned with Idrica's business objectives and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.



Requirements

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience with ethics and compliance issues, including anti-corruption laws and regulations, third-party compliance, anti-fraud, trade compliance, antitrust/competition law compliance, privacy, conflict of interest, and anti-harassment. A Bachelor's Degree is required, with a Master's Degree or Law Degree preferred. Professional compliance certifications, such as CESCOM or CCEP-I, are also beneficial.



Language Requirements

English language proficiency is required, with Spanish language proficiency also beneficial.



Work Experience

Prior experience in implementing and/or leading an Ethics and Compliance Program, identifying and resolving ethics/compliance issues quickly and effectively, and developing and implementing compliance training, communication, policies, processes, and procedures is essential. Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and interpersonal and collaborative skills are also required.
