Job Summary
The Commercial & Bid Manager will be responsible for managing the bid process for Airbus Crisa, ensuring that all proposals are prepared and submitted on time and within budget. This role will involve working closely with the sales and contracts team to develop and implement bid strategies, as well as managing the bid team and coordinating with technical teams, finance experts, and legal experts to ensure that all proposals meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement bid strategies to ensure that all proposals meet the required standards
- Manage the bid team and coordinate with technical teams, finance experts, and legal experts to ensure that all proposals are prepared and submitted on time and within budget
- Work closely with the sales and contracts team to develop and implement bid strategies
- Ensure that all proposals are compliant with relevant legislation and best practices
- Contribute to the overall financial objectives by proposing and negotiating satisfactory payment plans and supporting invoicing and cash targets
- Manage and maintain a satisfactory understanding of relevant legislation and best practices associated with contracting activities
Requirements
- Post-graduate Master degree in business administration or Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in bid management in an international environment
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Methodical and organized with good team spirit and business orientation
- Autonomous and flexible with excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills
