Are you ready to take on a challenging role in the wind energy sector? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bid Manager to join our global Wind team at Ramboll Group A/S.
About the RoleAs a Senior Bid Manager, you will play a critical role in driving project-specific bid processes end-to-end and ensuring the timely submission of high-quality, client-centric proposals. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and tender teams to develop and execute high-quality, client-centric, and successful proposals.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively lead the entire bid process, coordinating the efforts of Ramboll's global engineering and advisory teams in the wind division to ensure the submission of high-quality, customer-tailored proposals.
- Support the creation of a bid strategy by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, developing compelling value propositions, and guiding tender teams in planning and creating proposals aligned with agreed strategies.
- Plan, prepare and compile compelling, well-written and precise proposals and bid documents.
- Utilize and manage Ramboll's internal tools and processes (e.g., CRM, project excellence, decision gates) to track and develop opportunities efficiently, streamline project team communication and consolidate required inputs from relevant teams.
- Enhance our sales processes, tools, templates and standard contents to boost efficiency and incorporate industry best practices.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in a related field or applicable disciplines (e.g., Business Administration, Business Communication, Engineering), or equivalent relevant experience. You should have relevant experience in proposal or bid management, preferably in the energy sector. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (C1 level expected) are essential. You should be an experienced team player with strong project management skills who is expected to work with minimal supervision. A customer-focused approach as well as solution-oriented and structured way of working are also required. Familiarity with public / private procurement processes and with commercial, contractual and execution models is a plus.
