About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join RWS, a leading provider of technology-enabled language, content, and intellectual property services, as a Senior Vendor Relations Manager - AI Projects. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in unlocking global understanding by removing language barriers and making global connection possible.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Vendor Engagement and Management: Engage with existing vendors on AI projects, including qualification, contracting, onboarding, and performance management.
  2. Business Partnering: Act as an experienced business partner providing vendor solutions to internal teams responsible for delivering AI-related tasks to clients.
  3. Escalation Point: Serve as the first escalation point for internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  4. Project Solutions: Ensure each allocated project is provided with the best possible solutions considering price, profile requirements, availability, and service, using internal databases.
  5. Information Management: Ensure all required information is entered into information systems and keep them up-to-date with current vendor details.
  6. Supplier Communication: Communicate and interact with suppliers, answer queries, and provide support if needed.
  7. Supply Chain Strategy: Collaborate to define the supply chain strategy and build suitable partner strategies for assigned projects.
  8. Process Improvement: Influence the way we work and share ideas on how to improve both existing and future processes.
  9. Training and Development: Train and develop other team members as a senior member of the team.
Requirements
  1. Supply Chain Experience: At least 4 years of Supply Chain experience from a role related to vendor management/sourcing or similar, combined with relevant industry experience (ideally related to AI & data services).
  2. Client-Facing Experience: Experience in a client-facing role is a plus.
  3. Language Skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English, with other languages as a plus.
  4. Technical Skills: Advanced-level user of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  5. Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, ability to work independently, make decisions, and stay organized.
  6. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large data sets, draw relevant conclusions, and keep data accurate.
  7. Process-Oriented Mindset: Process-oriented and improvement-focused mindset.
  8. Team Player: Positive personality with interest in Artificial Intelligence, team player with a can-do approach.
