About the Role

Reconocida Empresa is seeking a highly skilled Senior Vendor Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a Senior Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for improving product selection and managing relationships with vendors in the shoes and handbags category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the business owner for assigned vendors, with a deep understanding of internal and external variables that impact your business, including selection, pricing, availability, forecasting, and operational excellence.
  • Maximize profitability and selection expansion opportunities.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including supplier/partner contracts, day-to-day relationships, and negotiation and securing marketing funds.
  • Develop innovative ways of launching new features that improve the customer experience.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the industry, trends, and future trajectory.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of leadership, both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Several years of relevant business experience.
  • Highly analytical skill set with aptitude for data-driven argumentation (SQL would be a plus).
  • Experience in Program or Project Management.
  • Strong communication skills with experience managing external relationships.
