Job Title: Global Fiber Products Sales Director

At Remote People, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Fiber Products Sales Director to lead our commercial efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability across our global fiber products business.

The ideal candidate will have at least 13 years of successful commercial management experience in pulp/paper/packaging products or bulk commodities. They should have a proven track record in managing a sizable portfolio (at least USD 1Bn) at the regional level, e.g., Asia Pacific. Strong understanding of commodity market dynamics, relevant product knowledge, and customer needs is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, review, and execute a group-wide "Go to Market" strategy on fiber product sales in each of the globally identified markets to fulfill growth and annual profitability targets.
  2. Optimize strategic commercial and resource allocation matters across the different product lines and geographical regions to fulfill these targets.
  3. Drive group production and allocation by coordinating with Production, Logistics, Technical, and other relevant Departments on issues relating to product quality and Tracking Satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • At least 13 years of successful commercial management experience in pulp/paper/packaging products or bulk commodities in sectors like chemical, oil gas, metal, agricultural, etc.
  • Proven track record in the management of a sizable PL (at least USD 1Bn) at the regional level, e.g., Asia Pacific.
  • Strong understanding of commodity market dynamics, relevant product knowledge, and customer needs.
  • Possess prior experience overseeing operations and demonstrated experience in managing the value chain from production to customers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good leadership and people management skills.
  • Resilient, willing, and able to be hands-on and good at numbers.
  • A good degree in any specialization, MBA preferred.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
