Senior Sales Director for Energy Sector

Job Summary
As a Senior Sales Director for the Energy Sector, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the sales strategy for the B2C segment in Spain. This role requires a high level of English proficiency, as well as experience in commercial management and team leadership. Knowledge of French is an advantage. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree or Postgraduate studies in business administration, commercial, or marketing. Key responsibilities include defining the sales strategy, analyzing internal and external situations, and contributing to the definition of the B2C commercial business plan. The successful candidate will also oversee the implementation of the sales and commercial strategy, manage the customer portfolio, and design sales campaigns. Additionally, they will identify market opportunities, prioritize the development of new B2C products, and set final pricing for customers. The Sales Director will also oversee the development of commercial actions using market knowledge and ensure the market studies needed to develop the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, with experience in inbound and outbound channels. They will also be able to select suppliers, define targets, and establish relevant criteria and/or control and organisation parameters. The Sales Director will be responsible for driving and guaranteeing coordination or harnessing synergies with other units, representing and defending the interests of TotalEnergies in Spain, and ensuring the development of the strategy, approving the budget, and guaranteeing the application of the operational and functional policies relating to their unit.
Key Responsibilities
• Define the sales strategy in the B2C segment
• Analyze internal (products, technologies, capacities and resources, services) and external (environment, sector, market, competition) situations
• Contribute to the definition of the B2C commercial business plan
• Oversee the implementation of the sales and commercial strategy of the B2C segment
• Manage the maintenance and control of the customer portfolio and its margin
• Design sales campaigns and define their targets
• Identify market opportunities
• Prioritize the development of new B2C products
• Set final pricing for customers
• Oversee the development of commercial actions using market knowledge
• Ensure the market studies needed to develop the business
• Define the Customer Journey in the selling process
• Oversee the pinpointing and realisation of partnership opportunities with other companies from different sectors
• Oversee the sales management strategy in inbound (CAC and Commercial Offices) and outbound (digital, in-person, telemarketing, leads...) channels
• Select suppliers (in the case of external channels)
• Define targets
• Establish relevant criteria and/or control and organisation parameters
• Decide on and establish expenditure, investment and income forecasts, if applicable
• Analyze opportunities and threats
• Drive and guarantee coordination or harnessing synergies with other units
• Represent and defend the interests of TotalEnergies in Spain
Requirements
• Academic Training and/or Years of Experience: University higher education
• High level of English (spoken and written, at least B2)
• Experience in Commercial Management (At least 10 years)
• Experience in team management (at least 10 years)
• Knowledge of French is an advantage
• Master's Degree or Postgraduate studies (business administration, commercial, marketing...) is an advantage
