Team Leader, Commercial Account Managers

The Opportunity
Nutanix is seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our commercial account managers in Spain. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a team of account managers to drive sales growth and exceed performance goals. You will work closely with the Sales Engineer and other stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies, manage sales pipelines, and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
About the Team
Our Spain Commercial team is a dynamic and collaborative environment where creativity, teamwork, and innovation are encouraged. As a Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals who are passionate about driving success and making an impact. You will report to the Country Director and be part of a hybrid work setup that balances in-person collaboration and remote work.
Your Role
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of account managers to drive sales growth and exceed performance goals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, manage sales pipelines, and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Work closely with the Sales Engineer and other stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans.
- Build and strengthen business relationships with current and new customers.
- Recommend marketing strategies to support sales efforts.
- Provide status information to your Manager, including forecast and pipeline information.
- Identify Nutanix customer references that can be utilized when reference selling.
What You Will Bring
- A track record of managing full sales cycles, including prospecting and direct-touch sales.
- Experience in leading commercial teams and developing sales strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions, including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
- Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems, as well as the competitive landscape.
- Native/bilingual Spanish and fluent English language skills required.
