Job Description:

Our client, a leading European multinational, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead the Spanish market and drive revenue growth. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to penetrate the Spanish market and achieve growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Market Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to identify and evaluate market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Establish and maintain relationships with key B2C clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  2. Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Drive sales initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet or exceed objectives.
  3. Business Development: Generate new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and creating targeted outreach strategies. Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements to maximize revenue and profitability.
  4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities. Provide insights and recommendations based on market data to drive strategic decision-making.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and materials. Coordinate with the operations and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior sales or business development role within the engineering, construction, or related sector. Previous relevant experience managing teams. Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and driving B2C revenue growth.
  2. Skills: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  3. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant equivalent experience.
  4. Language: Fluent in Spanish and French. Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  5. Other Requirements: Home office based in Madrid with willingness to travel across Spain as required by market needs. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team.
