As the Commercial Operations Manager, you will oversee the team responsible for managing tenders, contracts, and pricing policies. Your role will be pivotal in facilitating commercial growth by supporting various divisions in their daily operations. You will drive excellence across the complete spectrum of Tender, Contract Management, and Pricing processes, ensuring visibility, strategic pricing governance, and contract management excellence. Your leadership will maintain a comprehensive commercial overview and promote collaboration across divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Commercial team in Spain, focusing on tenders, contracts, and pricing.Foster cross-divisional engagement and collaboration opportunities.Ensure effective implementation and adherence to tender processes.Manage all aspects of tender contract administration.Oversee the execution of the annual pricing calendar in collaboration with divisions.Build and maintain strong relationships with key tender authority clients.Utilize current resources and technology capabilities regionally while sharing best practices.Collaborate with divisions to create commercial models for customers and indirect channels.Provide thought leadership on the evolving procurement and tender landscape, proposing future operating models.Lead monthly commercial meetings, updating the business on tenders, contracts, and pricing activities.Enhance contract compliance visibility using effective tools, engaging with divisions and commercial teams to measure and improve performance.Continuously review and enhance processes to boost customer satisfaction.Promote the Stryker culture, mission, and values in all regional team meetings.Maintain high engagement levels across teams, supporting their development.Drive the Stryker talent strategy throughout the region.Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.Over 10 years of relevant experience in pricing, tenders, and contracts.Experience in people management, either as a team leader or senior specialist, with a focus on improvement and engagement.Ability to influence and communicate effectively at senior levels.Strong understanding of end-to-end tender, contract, and pricing processes.Experience in developing and deploying tools is advantageous.Highly organized with structured project management skills.Internal candidates with equivalent education, experience, and performance will be considered.What We Offer:
