Job Overview

Nexthink is seeking a skilled Treasury Manager to oversee and enhance our treasury operations.

This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the Treasury function from the ground up, reporting directly to the CFO. As a pivotal member of our finance team, you will have the chance to establish and refine treasury processes that align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Cash and Risk Management

  • Oversee daily treasury operations, ensuring effective cash management and fostering strong banking relationships.
  • Manage global cash flow, facilitating intercompany transactions and funding strategies to support capital expenditures and operational requirements.
  • Prepare documentation for treasury-related accounting, audits, and special inquiries.
  • Assist in developing short-term cash forecasts and contribute to long-term financial modeling efforts.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies by collaborating with finance, treasury systems, and banking partners.
  • Drive initiatives for process improvement and automation within the treasury function.
  • Lead special projects and conduct ad hoc analyses as needed.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with banking partners.
  • Manage the opening and closing of bank accounts, ensuring compliance with KYC regulations.
  • Evaluate and implement suitable tools and systems for corporate treasury operations.
  • Develop and recommend new treasury strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and accurate internal treasury reporting.
  • Act as the primary contact for treasury-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX regulations, including control updates and documentation.
  • Support compliance with debt covenants, ensuring timely payments and tracking lender activities.

Equity and Stock Administration

  • Administer the company's equity awards, including the granting and exercising of options.
  • Maintain equity administration databases, generating reports as necessary.
  • Manage relationships with third-party equity administration vendors.
  • Ensure accuracy in the company's capital table and shareholder movements.
  • Collaborate with shareholders and the transfer agent on equity-related requests.
  • Facilitate the execution of documents related to equity transactions.
  • Support the accounting and reporting of employee stock-based compensation.
  • Assist with periodic share reconciliations and special projects.

Insurance Management

  • Assist in preparing the annual insurance budget and schedules.
  • Coordinate the annual renewal process for insurance policies.
  • Manage the issuance of certificates of insurance, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Gather and provide necessary data for insurance renewals.
  • Prepare materials for the annual insurance program review.
  • Process insurance claims and liaise with the Legal Department.
  • Review insurance policies and recommend terms and limits.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication and support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in corporate finance or treasury.
  • At least 5 years of experience specifically in corporate treasury.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CTP, or CFA are preferred.
  • Proficiency in web-based banking platforms and treasury workstations.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in building relationships and influencing outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional demeanor and subject matter expertise in global banking products.
  • Experience in international cash management and project management within a publicly traded company.
