Key Responsibilities
To manage the Treasury function to optimize cash flow, ensuring short-term financial capabilities and effectively managing financial risks to mitigate exposures in alignment with corporate guidelines.
Main Functions
- Secure financial capabilities with a focus on working capital facilities, ensuring the company's liquidity and cash flow management.
- Identify local financial risks (e.g. FX, interest rates or commodities) and coordinate hedging activities with Corporate Treasury to minimize potential losses.
- Manage relationships and negotiations with domestic banks to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Prepare and oversee short-term treasury forecasts to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risks.
- Provide the treasury-reporting package in a timely fashion to support business decision-making.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (Banking, J-SOX, etc.) and maintain a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
- Review and streamline processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development, and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values and culture.
- Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used and maintained.
- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting, and improving the OHSE and Quality department to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
Academic Background
A Bachelor's degree, mainly in economics, business administration, or actuarial science.
Languages
Fluent local language and Fluent English (spoken and written).
Experience
Minimum 4 or 5 years in treasury departments, with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
Additional Specifications
Knowledge of economics, business administration, finance, TMS, or treasury applications would be of additional value.
